Paul K. Williams, President of the Historic Congressional Cemetery, will be the featured speaker on Wednesday, September 20, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. at the Northeast Library.Still an active cemetery with plots for sale, there is more to Congressional than 70,000 dead bodies. This fun illustrated presentation will delight you with the fascinating history, and entertaining tales of goats, activities, unique fundraising, and some of the more unusual people buried in what the Washington Post describes as “America’s Hippest Cemetery.”
